Jacquet Droz Tourbillion Minute Repeater

The Tourbillon Minute Repeater Calibre Jaquet Droz 2962 watch is not only a tourbillon but also a minute repeater. On the extremely bare slate dial is an opaline silver counter with a large decentred second hand at 9 o’clock. The simple white gold case measures 43 mm in diameter.
It is only by turning over the watch that one discovers, under the transparent sapphire crystal, the Calibre Jaquet Droz 2962 T equipped with a tourbillon with a monometallic balance and auto-compensating Breguet spiral. It has a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour and a working reserve of 48 hours.
A discreet bolt on the side of the case at 9 ‘clock initiates the minute repeater with a chime on request with two tones, one low for the hours and the other for the minutes.
